She Speaks and Torani sent me 2 bottles of syrup to try out. Salted Caramel and Gingerbread :) This is the perfect time of year for flavored hot drinks.
I made my coffee as usual and added a few tablespoons of the salted caramel syrup. Plus one packet of Splenda, topped with whip cream. Easy and delicious!

DIY Chevron curtains
I love Chevron prints. I looked everywhere for curtains for my bedroom with a chevron print. I found some....for $150 a panel! So, I decided to make them myself!
I went to JoAnn Fabrics and found tons of chevron prints in several colors. The fabric cost me $45 and the I simply used Stitch Witchery to fuse the hems. I bought curtain clips and clipped them on the top hem. Super easy....each panel took about 1.5 hours to make. Total cost: $65 for fabric, clips and stitch witchery! Then, I used my leftover fabric to make a pillow cover for the bed....also using no sew stitch witchery.

Bye Bye Builder Oak!
We had our home built 7 years ago.....and that outdated blonde oak is everywhere. There is nothing wrong with oak, but it's just not for me. People have told me it's a "sin" to cover natural oak. Well, then I guess I'm a sinner because I love the results!
This required lots of sanding, which is never fun. I used Rust-Oleum Ultimate Wood Stain in Kona, which is similar to an espresso wood color. I simply followed the directions on the stain and then applied a top coat of polyurethane. I would recommended finding a gel stain because the regular stuff is messy!

Gallery Wall
I love pictures. I have them all over the house.....everywhere. So I thought this would be a great way to display pictures, plus I love the look of a gallery wall. I did use a level and tape measure to hang all the frames, much easier that way!
